For the fisherman Gardenstown has lots to offer. You can fish from the harbour wall or from the beach. Sea fishing is available in Mcduff as is river fishing on the river Deveron.

Golfing is as much a part of Scotland as is haggis and good whisky. Gardenstown is just twenty minutes away from two superb golf courses, Duff House Royal Golf Club is situated in Macduff and boasts excellent golfing for both the serious golfer and the less experienced. Royal Tarlair golf club has a cliff top parkland course with its own unique challenges and panaramic views of the Moray Firth.

The Scotch Whisky trail can be joined in nearby Speyside which is home to more than half of Scotlands famous distilleries. Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Strathisla, Cardhu and Glen Grant are but a few of the treasurse waiting to be discovered and tasted in this beautiful part of Scotland.
